What services do you provide?

Dr. Stigen is focused on helping patients improve their natural fertility, and on providing solutions for a wide variety of health problems for all women. In order to provide timely appointments for women experiencing these issues, we do not provide well-women exams or prenatal care. Learn more about what we provide here: Services

What Health Plans are you In-Network with?

*** We accept the following Health Plans; however, to ensure our In-Network status with your specific Health Plan, please call your Health Plan and ask them about Dr. Theresa Stigen. If they cannot confirm In-Network status for Dr. Stigen, then ask them about Mystical Rose Obstetrics and Gynecology (sometimes their systems use physician names, other times organization names). If your Health Plan confirms our In-Network status, ask them for a Call Reference Number, and keep it for your records. If your Health Plan cannot confirm our In-Network status, please contact our office at 760-983-4024 and let us know.

PPO and POS:

  • Aetna

  • Blue Shield of California (including Large Group, Federal Employee Plan, Covered California, and Covered California mirror plans)

  • Medicare Part B (Existing patients only; we are not accepting new traditional Medicare Part B patients)

  • Medicare Replacement PPOs (from any of the above PPO/POS plans)

  • Medicare Replacement HMOs (through Regal Medical Group-Requires Primary Care Physician authorization)

How does Self-Pay work at your office?

If we are not contracted with your Health Plan, if you do not have any Health Plan coverage, or if we don’t expect your Health Plan to cover or share a good or service that we provide, we will collect Self-Pay rates at the time of service. At your request, we can also give you an itemized bill for submission to your Health Plan for Out-of-Network benefits or other reimbursement (if applicable). We accept cash, personal check, debit, and credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express).

We use pricing tools such as Health Care Blue Book to ensure fair pricing for Self-Pay patients,as well as for goods and services that are not covered or shared by Health Plans.
